Great Dickens!
Mie and I went to the annual Great Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco today! She’d been bugging me for weeks because she’d never been, but I’d resisted because it’s a little pricey ($25-30 for an adult day ticket) and because I’d gone in the past and not had that much fun. But I hate denying Mie anything, so I caved.
“You look very nice, but why do you color your lips black?” my mother asked. Because it’s cute, Mom! The lipstick is Macaron Lippies in Black from NYX. I’m also wearing my new white nail polish from NYX.
It was actually a lot of fun? Unlike the friends I’d gone with the previous time, Mie is very into Victorian things and handmade crafts, and her enthusiasm about everything rubbed off on me. I bought a John Bull hat, and she bought a little cameo to make into a pin.
