Pirates!
Mie, Ankur, Samir, and I decided to have a Pirates of the Caribbean marathon and to dress up as pirates for it! As it happened, only Mie and I dressed up. (Samir tried but the results were questionable.)
This outfit is made up of very few items I already owned. (Browns are extremely scarce in my wardrobe.) I got both the loose white blouse and the narrow brown one from a thrift store. Weirdly, they’re both from H&M. I borrowed the earrings and necklaces from my mother. The bit of brown peeking up above the collar of the white shirt and below the hem is a skirt I had never worn and have never worn since. (I think it was a gift?) I hiked it up and left it unzipped, as it couldn’t close around my chest, relying on the brown blouse to hold it up. The white skirt below the brown one and the brown bracelet are the only items that I actually ever wear. I believe I also wore a well-loved pair of brown boots with this outfit.
