La la la la la la la la Halloween Party
My friend and I co-host a Halloween tea party in December. The tradition started two years ago when we were in different states during Halloween, and we kept it up because it 1) prevents conflicts with other Halloween events and 2) allows us to take advantage of post-Halloween sales for decorations.
Check out the table setting for our Halloween Party 2014! A lot of the decor is stuff I’ve collected over the years, but some items, like the eyeball eggs and the “spooky” sign, were picked up at 90% off post-Halloween sales. Amazing! The plague doctor sitting at the head of the table is μ, holding a photo of K from Halloween Party 2012.
Here’s the full 2012 photo. μ is on the left, I’m in the middle, and K is on the right:

I made that my Facebook header for a while, to the alarm of many an innocent whose comments included, “ERMG DARLING I AM CRY”, and “there’s a dead girl next to you wtf i’m scared”, and “What is happening here? Why do you look so happy to be next to some dead person?”
Alas, we did not get any similarly lolzy photos this year, and my outfit was terrible. Sigh.
Here’s the music video that sparked the tradition:
